“Berglust” is a modern 60 m² apartment for up to 4 people. It lies on the outskirts of the idyllic mountain village of Obermaiselstein. The non smoking apartment was renovated and completely refurbished. It offers bright and friendly rooms and facilities to make you feel at home - tasteful decor, complimentary high speed Internet access (WLAN), Smart TV, CD/DVD player and much more.

For a delicious holiday breakfast a Nespresso machine, electric milk frother as well as toaster and kettle are available for you.
On the large private terrace with mountain view, you will enjoy the use of garden furniture and sun umbrellas. In front of the house, you can conveniently park in our free parking space. Washer / dryers are available with a coin slot.
Cocking at leisure: If you enjoy cooking, you will love our fully equipped kitchen. From ceramic hob, oven and dishwasher to coffee machine, kettle, blender, toaster and electric milk frother, everything is to hand for preparing delicious meals to serve in the kitchen (corner seat) or in the living/dining room. The bathroom has a rain shower, illuminated mirror as well as fluffy towels, ready for you on arrival.
The beds are made up with high-quality bed linen. The bedroom has new anti-allergenic luxury mattresses. The living room has a fold-out bed and a sofa bed (box spring). Shutters enable you to blackout the room completely.

Location

Obermaiselstein is a climatic spa village at 848m altitude and is one of 5 villages west of Fischen (“Hörnerdörfer”). It is well worth a visit in any season. The village center is just 5 minutes on foot. There you will find, among other things, a baker, a shop with local produce, a shop selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and several good restaurants. There are other shops in Fischen (4 km), Oberstdorf (10 km), Sonthofen (11 km). The apartment is an ideal starting point for hiking and skiing. Hiking trails start right behind the house and the ski bus stop is just a few steps from the front door. The nearest cable car station is the Hörnerbahn in Bosterlang (20 minutes walk). You will find more ski lifts and hiking trails in Oberstdorf (10 minutes) and Kleinwalsertal in Austria (20 minutes). Switzerland and Lake Constance are not far away.

Ski: The neighboring resort Grasgehren is one of the best in the foothills of the Alps and is renowned for its sunny location and panoramic views of the Allgäu Alps. The ski resort Balderschwang is also easily accessible and the ski resort Bolsterlang is only 5 minutes by car. All ski resorts in the so-called “Hörnergruppe” have a common ski pass. The ski bus stop Riedbergpass is just 150 meters from the house. The ski bus from Obermaiselstein to Grasgehren and Balderschwang is free for Obermaiselstein guests with the Allgäu Walser Card! The ski regions in Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal can be reached by car in 15 minutes. There is also a common ski pass including Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal that covers 120 kilometers of ski pistes. The ski resort of Mellau / Damüls is 40 minutes away (45 Km). Warth am Arlberg and the Zugspitze glacier are feasible day trips.
Golf: There are a couple of golf courses in the surroundings, such as the golf courses in Ofterschwang and Oberstdorf.
